An At-Home Paternity Test is a test that allows an alleged biological father and a child to collect their own samples in the comfort of your home. This type of testing option is also known as a peace of mind DNA test. The results for Home Tests cannot be used for any legal purpose. Therefore the results are for informational purposes only.
Please Note: If you are a New York State resident you will not be able to purchase a Home DNA Test due to the New York State Department of Health guidelines. The requirement of performing a paternity test or any other related DNA service is, the testing participants must have one of the three instruments to perform a DNA relationship test.
1. A court order from a judge
2. A prescription from an NYS licensed doctor
3. Or, A letter from an NYS licensed attorney.

Each Home Paternity Testing Kit contains the following:
A chain of custody to enter the names of the participants.
Buccal swab packets
Instructions on how to effectively collect your buccal swab samples
And a prepaid return shipping envelope going to the lab.
How long will it take for me to receive my Peace of Mind Home DNA Test Results?
Results are completed within 1 to 3 business days from the date the lab receives all genetic samples.
